About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for access governance at a logistics and distribution location in Stockton, California. The officer will safeguard clients and support secure, smooth operations by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and assisting employees, visitors, drivers, and deliveries. A visible presence, clear communication, attention to detail, integrity, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach are important to the role.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery or pickup documentation according to site procedures.
Maintain accurate access records for visitors, contractors, vehicles, and shipments, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
