About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Officers respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
