About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for an overnight position at a logistics and distribution location in West Chester, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the site by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring facility access, responding to incidents, and reporting security concerns. The role also provides customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security policies. The schedule is 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $18.22 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailer yards, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor facility access, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Report suspicious activity, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related incidents through required documentation and communication channels.
