About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Lincoln, Nebraska. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring assigned areas, and communicating with employees and visitors. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, a caring, people-first approach, and exceptional customer service. The position pays $20.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Duties include following site-specific security procedures, responding to incidents and alarms, conducting interior and exterior patrols, reporting hazards and unusual conditions, and maintaining accurate activity records.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report unusual conditions, facility hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Maintain accurate patrol, incident, and daily activity reports.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
