About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, hourly Security Officer to safeguard clients and provide customer service. The role includes carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position is overnight, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., pays $19 per hour, and is paid weekly. Officers must be able to walk and stand for long periods and work outside for long periods.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Be able to work outside for long periods.
• Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of security experience is preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
