Security Officer Overnight Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for a healthcare location in Oxford, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and client property by conducting foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting visitor management, and responding to incidents and emergencies. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and the pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and support visitor-management procedures, directing individuals to appropriate departments or resources when needed.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
