About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a financial institution in San Francisco, California. The officer helps safeguard clients by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients. The role involves responding to incidents and access-control concerns, monitoring visitors and access points, and documenting patrols and shift activities. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at a rate of $26.93 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities according to company and site-specific requirements.
