About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Louisville, Kentucky. The officer will help safeguard the site and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and personnel. The role involves routine and random patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting and reporting security-related activity. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; applicants for armed roles must be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter; identify unusual activity and report observations according to site procedures.
Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and driver authorization as required.
Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
