About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location in Kissimmee, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assisting guests, residents, and staff professionally. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, provide exceptional customer service, and reflect Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Saturday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.14 per hour.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and first aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, owners, visitors, and staff by following site-specific policies, security procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of guest areas, resort grounds, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and potential security concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations; escalate matters to appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and help maintain a welcoming environment.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
