About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer for a media and technology location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and production personnel by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access management, responding to incidents, and documenting activity using computer or tablet tools. The role supports routine operations as well as productions, special events, and high-traffic periods. The posted schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local laws and may need to be met before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and production personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, studios, production areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
Support security operations during productions, special events, and high-traffic periods by assisting with access management, visitor direction, and site policy compliance.
