About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. The role provides customer service, communicates clearly, responds to security concerns, and completes digital records and other required documentation. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local security licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued license for security-related work.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
