About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location in Stamford, Connecticut. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication to tenants, visitors, and staff. The role involves using digital reporting and working scheduled daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.29 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients by following site-specific procedures and responding to requests.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, helping deter unauthorized entry and directing individuals as appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify appropriate contacts and document activities according to site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.
