Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting
About The Position
As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in New Concord, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. The role is guided by agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity. This is a full-time position paying $17.50 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor and report unusual activity, damaged property, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and deliveries.
