About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Atlanta, Georgia. In this access control role, you will help maintain a welcoming and controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and responding to security-related concerns. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while helping deter incidents. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Pay is $17.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment under applicable state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage badge access.
Communicate clearly and help deter security incidents.
