About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer to support patrol inspections at a government location in San Bernardino, California. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, assisting visitors and staff, and communicating observations and security concerns. The role emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, integrity, problem-solving, and customer service. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $21.49 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or public agencies as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and remain aware of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
Prepare accurate reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with company and site procedures.
