About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitoring assigned areas, and providing customer service and communication. The position is full-time and pays $17.63 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment depending on state or local laws and regulations.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and promptly share relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization under site procedures, and assist with directing guests, contractors, and deliveries.
• Complete accurate shift reports, incident reports, and required daily activity logs while maintaining a professional presence and following applicable policies.
