About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Property Inspections for an assigned logistics and distribution location in Goodyear, Arizona. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment, and may allow the officer to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts can increase weekly hours up to 40, with the option to scale back. The listed shift is Wednesday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies, responds to incidents and access or delivery concerns, conducts unarmed patrols, monitors entry points, and documents and communicates observations and incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills to address incidents, delivery-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, driver, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
