About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a healthcare location in Sturgis, Michigan. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and client property by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and providing professional customer service and communication. The role calls for integrity, reliability, and a caring, team-focused approach. The stated schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.04 per hour. Employees can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following site-specific procedures and carrying out appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills and notifying appropriate site personnel.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction in accordance with site policies and security-related protocols.
Prepare accurate activity, incident, and observation reports while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare setting.
