About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Inspections in Jacksonville, Florida, you will safeguard clients at a technology-focused location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. This is a part-time position scheduled Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, paying $16.73 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, assist with visitor management, and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
