About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Awareness in Atlanta, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity.

This is a full-time position with a listed pay rate of $15.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Observe manufacturing and warehouse operations for security-related concerns, report hazards or maintenance issues, and support orderly traffic flow for personnel and deliveries.
