About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol officer at a government location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding professionally to site needs. The position is scheduled for Wednesday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.43 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at government locations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to post orders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas and verify authorized access in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to supervisors and designated client representatives.
