About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Brownsville, Texas. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, professionalism, teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring culture. The scheduled hours are 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $10.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
Maintain required logs and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
