About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Portland, Tennessee, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff while responding professionally to concerns. The role is full-time and pays $16.42 per hour. The posted schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Assist with access control, customer and employee assistance, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
