About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order and enforces regulations and directives for client sites involving personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role includes frequent interaction with client employees and guests, customer service, use of technology devices during shifts, and responding to emergencies with appropriate judgment and escalation. The position is full-time and based in El Mirage, Arizona, at $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Willingness to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and control access.
• Patrol assigned locations and conduct tours of the property.
• Preserve order and enforce client-site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Use technology devices throughout the shift.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
