About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Martinsburg, West Virginia, at a pay rate of $19.50 per hour. The officer will serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. Security experience of more than one year is required before employment. The position includes customer service, enforcement of safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, emergency response when appropriate, incident response, and regular and random patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Applicants must meet age requirements for the role, have a high school diploma or equivalent or five years of verifiable experience, and satisfy applicable background and drug-screening requirements. Licensing may be required under state or local law. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions. Requirements

• More than one year of security experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
