About The Position

As a Security Officer at a residential location in Denver, Colorado, you will safeguard residents, visitors, and clients while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, providing customer service, communicating professionally, responding to security-related concerns, and working with integrity, reliability, care, and teamwork. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, at $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures; document observations and report unusual or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency protocols.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and site representatives.
