About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard a financial institution in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond professionally to evolving situations, and provide clear communication and customer service. The schedule is Thursday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.16 per hour.

Requirements

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies while maintaining a professional presence.
Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
