Armed Security Officer Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer Patrol for a driving post at a retail location in San Antonio, Texas. The officer will help safeguard clients by conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding professionally to security concerns, and providing customer service. The role requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The pay rate is $15.50 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and participate in industry-specific security training. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- Texas Level III Armed Certification.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Meet any applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity.
- Report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while complying with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and post orders.
