About The Position

As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will help safeguard the client’s site and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers. The role includes conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents and concerns, and communicating professionally with site contacts and emergency services as needed. The position is full-time and pays $29.40 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Have four or more years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry according to site policies, maintaining awareness of visitor activity and restricted areas.
Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.
