Security Officer Warehouse Area Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer Warehouse Area Patrol in Ronkonkoma, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role includes routine patrols, clear communication, and exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.07 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
- Monitor for unusual activity, report hazards or maintenance concerns, and document observations through required reporting channels.
- Help deter unauthorized access by verifying visitor, employee, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
