About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to patrol a warehouse location in Wooster, Ohio. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors while providing customer service. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.80 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment.
Respond to security-related concerns and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
