About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer Area Patrol at a technology-focused location in Hunt Valley, Maryland, you will help safeguard employees and visitors by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity as part of a collaborative team. This is a part-time position scheduled Monday through Wednesday, 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established emergency response protocols.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
