About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer Screening in Webster, Texas, you will help safeguard a logistics and distribution location. You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and report security-related concerns. A visible presence, clear communication, and customer service help deter incidents while supporting efficient operations. The position schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Pay is $15.24 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas according to established access-control procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter locations; document observations and report security-related concerns.
