About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Bossier City, Louisiana. The officer will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, vehicles, and packages; monitoring access points; and conducting patrols. The role involves providing customer service, following site procedures, communicating clearly, responding to incidents, and reporting security concerns. Pay is $15.24 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and property in accordance with site requirements and procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
