About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Entrance Screening in Pooler, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will screen individuals and items, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns while providing professional customer service and clear communication to support efficient operations. The position is full-time and pays $15.24 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures.
Verify identification, access credentials, and shipping-related documentation as required, and report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to site leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, business operations, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
