About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Fontana, California, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s culture of agility, reliability, innovation, and care. The position pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:30 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Possess a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery traffic; verify authorization and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
Complete detailed activity reports and incident documentation, and conduct shift handoffs while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
