About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The officer safeguards the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, responding to routine concerns, reporting observations, and providing customer service to employees and visitors. The role follows site-specific procedures, policies, post orders, and emergency response activities. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.43 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment depending on state and local laws and regulations.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and other security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, follow post orders, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors and designated client representatives.
