About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an entry-level Surveillance Security Officer in Cloquet, Minnesota. The officer will monitor security systems and screens to identify suspicious activity and threats before they escalate, and help protect people and property. The part-time schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The position pays $18 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have a state license if required.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
