About The Position

Securitas is hiring full-time, entry-level Security Officers for data center positions in Manassas, Haymarket, and Gainesville, Virginia. The role pays $19.75 per hour. Available shifts are 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Employees must work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday, and be available for weekend shifts. The work involves monitoring environments, following protocols, communicating effectively, and providing customer service. Candidates must be physically able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet applicable security officer licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Must be over the age of 18.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet all state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
• Must be available to work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday.
• Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions.
• Diligent observation and monitoring skills.
• Ability to adhere to protocols and guidelines.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
