About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The role preserves order by enforcing client-site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers observe and report activities and incidents to help protect client property and personnel, and frequently provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods, and to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
