About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Culver City, California, for a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.32 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
