About The Position
As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location in Fremont, California, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and clients. The driving post involves routine interior and exterior patrols, a visible security presence, access-point and visitor monitoring, and responding to incidents and emergencies in accordance with established procedures. You will document observations and incidents and provide professional customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations; follow established protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations, and report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Maintain a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
