Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Site Inspection
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer for a logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access and traffic, and helping deter unauthorized activity. The role also involves providing customer service, responding professionally to security concerns, documenting activities, and communicating incidents and unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal management. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $15.37 per hour. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, building perimeters, and other assigned areas.
- Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verify authorization according to site policies, and document security-related activities.
- Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
