About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Reno, Nevada. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitors assigned areas, and provides customer service and communication. The position pays $24.00 per hour and follows a daytime schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and access-control processes as assigned.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate concerns and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
