About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a retail location in Lancaster, Texas. The officer will help safeguard clients and provide a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors through customer service, visible presence, routine patrols, and professional responses to concerns. The role is scheduled for daytime shifts: Monday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Sunday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, documenting and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading zones, garden areas, and perimeter.
Help deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious activity.
Monitor access points, delivery and receiving areas, and customer entrances according to site-specific procedures.
