About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Unarmed Deterrence in Brockton, Massachusetts, to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role involves following security procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies and critical situations, observing access points and the movement of people and vehicles, and accurately documenting and communicating observations and incidents. The position pays $18.85 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
