About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Deterrence Patrol Security Officer in Kernersville, North Carolina, serving a logistics and distribution location. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, teamwork, and integrity. The schedule is Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $15.24 per hour. Officers may use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements if applicable; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers according to site procedures.
Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document relevant details, and complete required reports.
