About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. You will communicate professionally, respond to incidents and access concerns, report observations, and help maintain a welcoming environment. The role includes daytime weekend overnight shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, where required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating issues according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
