About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location in Orlando, Florida, you will safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. The listed schedule is Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.70 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, visitors, and commercial drivers according to site-specific access-control procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
Document patrols, incidents, access-control activity, and other security-related observations in required reports and logs.
