About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Waipahu, Hawaii. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes providing professional customer service to tenants and visitors and supporting a welcoming environment. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.40 per hour. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading zones, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs of arrivals, departures, deliveries, and incidents.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and notification procedures.
Prepare clear written reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
